Radiology Requirements in Oklahoma
In the state of Oklahoma, all working radiologist assistants must carry a state license. Each license must be renewed at the end of each 2-year term, and includes a mandatory 50 hours of continuing education. Unlike the majority of US states, the state of Oklahoma does not make use of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam for its licensing requirements.

Northern Oklahoma College, Tonkawa, Stillwater, Enid: While not yet endorsed by JCERT, Northern Oklahoma College features a cooperative agreement program for radiography with other career technology centers. Students of this joint radiology program will earn and Associate of Applied Science degree of Radiography upon graduation.
Out-of-state options are extensive in Amarillo, Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston in Texas, in Wichita and Topeka, Kansas City, Springfield and St. Louis to the northeast, and Little Rock in Arkansas.
